On Tuesday 24 May, at Holiday Inn Gatwick Worth, the KSS Leadership Collaborative team was joined by a variety of colleagues, from across the region, who came together to learn about both local and national leadership development opportunities.
The Roadshow was opened by Alan Nobbs of the NHS Leadership Academy, who spoke passionately about his own leadership journey and challenged participants to connect to their leadership purpose, highlighting the importance of making our workforce feel cared for and valued. Alan was followed by a number of KSS Programme Ambassadors who shared their real life leadership development experiences on the NHS Leadership Academy programmes, culminating in a Q&A session.
This was followed by an opportunity for participants to visit a number of stands to explore and seek advice about the next step in individual and organisational leadership development as well as how local and national programmes and tools available can help to support this.
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone involved in making the Roadshow a success, with special thanks to our Programme Ambassadors: Ursula Clarke (Nye Bevan), Madhu Meshram (Edward Jenner), Janice Moorkite (Mary Seacole), Sandra Speller (Elizabeth Garret Anderson). Your stories were inspirational!
